"Dasharatha Rameshwara" is the famous holy place in this Taluk.This place is known as " VAJRA ".The saint Shravana was killed by Dasharatha Maharaj in Ramayana.As a mark of repentance, king Dasharatha installed and worshipped a " Shiva Linga " with his son RAMA, which is therefore called as "DASHATRATHA RAMESHWARA".
